With twelve years of motocross racing at his arsenal, Josh has focused his attention on the sport of mountain biking. In 2008, this youngster made his mark on the mountain biking world by winning 2 sport men 19-29 championships, and taking the runner up position in another series.
This year, Josh has another goal in mind; 100 miles of mountain bike racing with over 10,000 feet of elevation gain. That's right, he will be riding up 10,000 feet worth of mountain. What would cause Josh to want to push himself to the ultimate exhaustion? His mom!
In 2005, Denise Radi was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.). She was 38 years old at the time. This disease can and does strike at nearly any age, and is a relentless degenerative process that ultimately leads to paralysis. Among other symptoms, M.S. can cause depression and severe neuropathic pain
Josh has made the decision to do what he can to help bring a cure to M.S., and he feels this is his best way to accomplish that goal; his athleticism. All of the proceeds from this fundraiser go directly to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (Michigan Chapter).
